Maidah Marketplace was an Idea born from the desire to follow Minister Farrakhan and Bring the Economic Blueprint of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad off of the pages of Message to the Blackman into process that could bring it into concrete Reality. Bringing over 20 years experience in the Food Industry in the areas of Management VP, Distribution, Sales and Marketing. We are prepared to help establish a economic program that we believe will help in being a catalist for change and a New Way of Life, much needed and much sought after.
The Western Model of Life while offering many benifits and possibilities,because of imorality & greed, is on the very brink of destuction and its citizens being unaware are like prey in the hands of "Merchants of Death"
At Maidah we hope not only to help to point out the problem, but offer the best solution to this delima, Help Reverse this condition and serve and empower the citizen to take back the control of the very essentials for good health. From 1997-2005 I was blessed to live and work in the City of Cincinnati. It was during this time I was blessed to be asked to develope a survival plan for the Mosque in that city and to prepare training reports for the entire state. It was during this process I began to study the problem of food distribution in our community, and the reasons for the black and brown loss of vital farm land. That Study finally lead me to Muhammd Farms in Southwest Georgia with Dr. Ridgley Muhammad ( Farm Manager for the NOI). In my quest to connect the inner city with the farm we addopted the Dr Ridgley Plan of the "Buying Club"
From 2001-2004 we were blessed to manage a Buying Club that had over 75 customers in Cincinnati and Dayton Ohio. We succesfully purchased and distributed: Food Boxes, Everlasting Water, Clean and Fresh Products and Navy Beans. We were blessed to turn a small profit, donate to several causes and give away several food bags for community members in need.
Before Relocaing back to the L.A. area, we were developing a Public Access Infomercial to host Canning and Cooking Classes
We hope to help build a action oriented Membership in the Inland Empire California that will be strong enough to serve the entire region.
